Because I am a teacher, I am friends with many people younger than myself. A hallmark of my life from early on has been to find friendship and guidance through relationships with people a generation or two above me. I guess I am starting, now, to be that "older person" in younger people's lives. Without the wide spectrum of ages in my life, I would be a far less energetic and broadminded person. I am grateful for the diversity of ages and viewpoints of the people and friends in my life.

Skills you can bring to a community

I am a landscape gardener, specializing in flowers. I am also a vegetable gardener. I teach children who are differently abled. Also, my passion is to work with young people in the garden, teaching them to grow food, flowers, care for animals, and work cooperatively. I perform committment ceremonies and am learning to rituals and ceremonies around the passing from present incarnation to the here after.

My all-time favorite is Motown from the seventies; and then bluegrass, country, classical, folk........gee......I like all kinds of music.
